Treatment protocols for osteosarcoma were not changed in the last decade and don’t include biological therapies. Blood vessel density in human biopsies from metastatic osteosarcoma were 30 fold higher compared to non-metastatic osteosarcoma. We hypothesize osteosarcoma recruit endothelial cells, in turn, endothelial cells increase tumor vascularity that promote metastasis.
